If you want a special and different 1966 Mustang? This is your car!!!!
This is a nice and good 1966 Ford Mustang. The previous owner was a big Shelby fan and so he turned his cool black Mustang into a Shelby tribute.
Several Shelby items were added like:
- Shelby steering wheel
- Shelby gas cap
- Shelby air cleaner
- Shelby Valve covers
- Shelby signature on glove box
- Shelby decals on front fenders
- Shelby decal on windshield
- Hood scoop
He also added some GT options like GT stripes, GT fog lights in the grille and GT exhaust tips through the rear valance.
Together with the 17 inch wheels and the perfect stance, this Mustang stands out!!!
The engine is a 289V8. It runs really well and powerfull and is dressed with lots of goodies. It has a Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley carburator, electronic ignition with MSD coil, headman headers and a badass sounding Flowmaster dual exhaust system. An aluminium radiator was added for optimum cooling. The transmission is a C4 and shifts very well. Just like it should!
The Mustang is equipped with power steering and power disc brakes.
The interior is nice and clean. The gauges are from Dakota Digital and look like original but with a modern touch. Very nice. The bezels from the light switch, wiper switch, ignition switch were all replaced and new. This Mustang has the well desired center console. There is also an air-conditioning unit under the dash that has new bezels but it’s not functional.
The original radio is also still in the dash but its not working. Instead there is a radio in the glove box. There is a small amplifier in the trunk and some speakers in the package tray and in the kick panels.
The paint, raven black, is really nice. Of course black is a very touchy color but this Mustang looks really well. There is no rust on this car!! Floors are solid and there are no rust bubbles to be found!! On the hood is a GT-350 scoop and some hood pins were also added.
The steering is tight, the front shocks are new and some of the suspension bushings are new.
The previous owner also installed an alarm with power door locks and remote starter. Yes, you can start this car with just a touch on the botton of the remote control!!!
Please note you are looking at a 56 year old Classic car. This is not a brand new or completely restored 1000 point show car. It is very nice but there will always be that is not perfect or something to improve or renew.
The Mustang comes with Dutch registration and plates. Registration in any European country is possible.
The car comes with american title and import documents for EU. We can help with RDW, TUV and Belgian homologation.
