1967 Ford Mustang “Deluxe”
This Mustang is an A-code. Its made in San Jose, California and build for Los Angeles area where it stayed for the most part of its life. In June 2000 it was imported into the Netherlands where it had 1 owner for over 20 years. The guy did not use the Mustang anymore so it was time to sell.
The A-code means it has a 289ci 8 cylinder engine, like most of the 65 and 66 Mustangs, but with a 4 barrel carburator. This means it has a little more horsepower than the C-codes. This Mustang was rebuild with a stronger 302 engine. Under the hood this Mustang is very clean and has a new power brake booster.
It has an automatic transmission that shifts well. The engine runs really powerfull and reliable and the transmission shifts smooth. A pleasure to drive! The rear end has a 1:3.00 gear ratio so its perfect for highway cruising at low rpm’s.
Power steering to make easy turns. Power disc brakes for safe stopping power. Dual exhaust system sounds really nice!!
The interior is really nice. This is the “ Luxury” version of the Mustang interior. It has deluxe seats, a center console, a top console (on the ceiling) and deluxe door panels. It also has a tilt steering column. Seats, carpet, door panels, headliner, etc etc, all very nice. Original Steering wheel and original style radio. Unmolested Mustang!!
The paint, Raven Black, is really nice and shiny. Looks very good. The stripes are vinyl and dark gray. This Mustang is absolutely rust free!!! Very solid for a 56 year old car. NO RUST HOLES!!! This Mustang needs no welding!!
The chrome is very nice and all the moldings and trim is looking good.
The Mustang GT wheels make this Mustang even look better. White letters tires make these wheels awesome!
Please note you are looking at a 56 year old Classic car. This is not a brand new or completely restored 1000 point show car. It is very nice but there will always be that is not perfect or something to improve or renew.
