1971 Ford Torino 500 "Spring Edition" , purchased in Fremont, California from Jamie. It’s a true "blue plate" California car.

The numbers matching powertrain is the 351 cui  V8 with a two-barrel carburetor, mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission.
Engine runs properly and the sounds coming from the dual exhaust sounds really powerfull and smooth.

Power steering and power disc brakes make this cool Torino a pleasure to drive.

Car is nice and straight and the gaps are clean and proper.

The paint is good and has a nice shine. Body and frame are absolutely free of rust and all panels seem to be original. Chrome is nice and all emblems and strips are clean and present. The vinyl top is brand new and there was no rust under it. The moldings around the vinyl top are present just not installed yet.

Interior is very clean. It has the seats with the dark red strip in it. The seat part was renewed and looks good again! Very stylish. Everything looks really good.

This is the Torino 500 Spring Edition. To perk up sales interest in the Spring of 1971, Ford introduced the “Halo Torino’s” which were only on the assembly lines for three months. They were not “limited productions” except in terms of colors offered as 32,900 of them were built. In Medium Brown Metallic, this Torino is one of those cars and it has survived nicely

Please note you are looking at a 51 year old Classic car. This is not a brand new or completely restored 1000 point show car. It is very nice but there will always be that is not perfect or something to improve or renew.
