1968 Pontiac Firebird 350V8
1968 Pontiac Firebird Coupe fully restored about 10 years ago.
Nut and bolt restoration started by the previous owner, Todd Porter, over 10 years ago. Complete body restoration of a rust free Car. Todd spent over $ 20.000,- to restore this beauty and all invoices are present in a big binder.
Todd sold the car to a guy in Tokyo, Japan who enjoyed it until 2018. In 2018 its was imported into The Netherlands where Peter bought it and still owns it. Peter has more classics, can’t drive them all, and so the Firebird has to go.
The engine is a high performance GM 350 cui V8. It has many upgrades like a roller cam, Edelbrock intake and a 4 barrel Edelbrock carburator. Todd also installed electronic ignition. The mufflers are Flowmaster and the sound is really good, not too loud, not too mellow. The manual 4 speed transmission shifts really smooth. A large aluminum radiator makes sure the engine stay’s at the right temperature.
Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Original 15 inch Pontiac Rally Wheels, and more... BF Goodrich Tires look good and have enough profile on them.
The paint, called Emerald Green, is a very special color that looks awesome in the sun!!!! It looks really good and it has a few layers of clear coat on it. It’s a very nice and good paintjob. SHOW QUALITY!!! There is NO rust on this Firebird!!! Floors are solid.
All new interior, Seats, Carpet, Headliner, Sun Visors, Console, Door Panels, Dash and trim. After market Retro AM/FM Radio with blue tooth. The interior looks like a dream and the seats are very comfortable. The center console holds 3 gauges for temperature, oil pressure and volts. Vintage air was installed for ice cold air conditioning during hot summer rides.
All the glass is nice and free of scratches. Moldings and trim are in very good condition.
Engine, Transmission, Brakes, Brake Lines, Front Suspension, Steering, new Glass, all rubber weatherstripping is new, Trunk detailed with spatter paint. Original spare tire, and jack/tools.
This is an example of a true survivor.
