Rookie classics offers this 1969 Ford Mustang Coupe purchased in Fremont, California from Ray. It’s a true "black plate" California car. Ray's mother bought the car brand new in 1969 and kept it in the family ever since. One day she put diesel in the gas tank and so the engine needed to be rebuild. Ray also installed a new gas tank to make sure all diesel was gone.  

The numbers matching powertrain is the 351 cu  mated to a  3-speed automatic transmission.
It has an aftermarket Edelbrock intake manifold and a 4 barrel carburetor. Engine runs properly.
Power steering, power brakes and Wilwood disc brakes in the front.

Flow Z exhaust system for that super nice and classic sound.

Car is a good basis but needs love and attention to come back to its full glory. There are some dents and scratches that need attention. 

But: Its a project car that runs and drives really well!!!

The floors are solid with no rust!!

The paint, lime gold poly, is old and tired. The body and frame are absolutely free of rust and all panels seem to be original. 

The Interior is all original. Original steering wheel. Needs some attention as well.

15 inch chrome Cragar wheels with good tires. Ray painted the wheels black but we like them better when they are chrome.

Car comes with American title and import documents to register it in any European Country.
