1968 Ford Mustang Coupe 

1968 Ford Mustang bought from Kim from Sacramento, California.

History

Kim bought the car several years ago and enjoyed it a lot. He took it on many trips with his friends but he got in a stage of his life where he is not using it anymore. He needs time for other things in life so the Mustang had to go.

Kim changed the hood, painted it, changed the valve covers and the wheels on the Mustang. For the rest he left it pretty much the way he bought it. 

Engine

Its a C-code means it has a 289ci 8 cylinder engine, like most of the 65 and 66 Mustangs. It has electronic ignition for more reliability. Also some nice aluminum Ford Racing valve covers were added for a more sporty look.

It has an automatic transmission that shifts well. The engine runs really powerfull and reliable and the transmission shifts smooth. A pleasure to drive! The rear end has a 1:3.00 gear ratio so its perfect for highway cruising at low rpm’s.

Power steering to make easy turns. Dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers sounds really nice!!

We added an OEM 4 piston disc brake kit with power booster to make your trips even safer. 

Interior

The interior is nice.  Seats, carpet, door panels, headliner, etc etc, all nice. Original Steering wheel. We added an aftermarket center console with cup holders to hold your beers 😉 Unmolested Mustang!!

Body and paint

The paint, pepper gray, is really nice and shiny. Looks very good. The stripes are black and painted. This Mustang is absolutely rust free!!! Very solid for a 56 year old car. NO RUST HOLES!!! This Mustang needs no welding!!

The chrome is very nice and all the moldings and trim is looking good.

The chrome American Racing wheels make this Mustang even look better. 

Please note you are looking at a 56 year old Classic car. This is not a brand new or completely restored 1000 point show car. It is very nice but there will always be that is not perfect or something to improve or renew. 

Registration Papers

The car comes with Dutch registration. So it has Dutch license plates. This means easy registration in any European country like Germany, France, Italy, Spain, etc, etc
