1968 Ford Mustang Coupe GT Tribute
The 1968 Mustang GT tribute consisted of GT stripes, chrome wheel opening moldings, pop-open gas cap. V-8s got in addition, the styled steel GT wheels with Wide Oval Tires and the GT fog lamps.
Engine
This 68 Mustang has a rebuild 302 V8 engine that was overbored to 305 and equipped with new crank shaft, pistons and valves and valve springs. The 2 barrel Motorcraft carburator was rebuild and a OEM Petronics electronic ignition was installed for better reliability.
3spd manual transmission. Good clutch feel.
- A new exhaust with performance mufflers were also installed.
- Power steering for easy turns.
All the brake, suspension and steering parts were renewed. Brake shoes, brake hoses, wheel cylinders, shocks, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, sway bar bushings all new!!!!
Body and paint
The paint, Wilbledon white, shines nice but is not perfect. Excellent chrome and trim. Bumpers are new and so are a lot of the other parts. The Mustang has no rust. Solid body and floors!!!
Interior
Really nice Red Interior with Cruiser Console. All bright works and dash pieces in excellent condition. All soft parts and upholstery present beautifully. Door jambs painted correctly and latches and rubber parts were assembled after paint. New weatherstripping.
The previous owner added GT rally wheels and we added brand new while letter tires.
Please note you are looking at a 55 year old Classic car. This is not a brand new or completely restored 1000 point show car. It is very nice but there will always be that is not perfect or something to improve or renew.
Registration Papers
The car comes with Dutch registration. So it has Dutch license plates. This means easy registration in any European country like France, Italy, Spain, etc, etc
