Incredible nice 1968 C-code Mustang with 289 V8 and GT options.

This beautiful 1968 Mustang was built in San Jose, California and drove around in Los Angeles for 17 years. Since 1985, the Mustang has been owned by Jeff from Westminster, Colorado.

About 8 years ago, he completely overhauled the body, the engine, transmission, steering and suspension. The engine and transmission were taken out and completely overhauled. The engine compartment was then neatly painted black.

All suspension rubbers and bushings have been renewed. New shock absorbers, new springs, new double exhaust, and neatly provided with a very thin layer of protective coating at the bottom.

Very little has been used with this beautiful classic since the restoration.

The car has a GT package that includes:

• GT is missing lamps in the grille
• GT exhaust cutouts in the rear panel
• GT center caps

The engine is the original C-code 289 cu in (4.7 L) V8 (1967) 2-barrel, 200 bhp (149 kW; 205 PS) at 4,400rpm 282 lbft (382 Nm) at 2,400rpm. Not a high performance motor but nice to take out on a cruise. The automatic C4 transmission shifts like it should, smooth and good!

The Mustang has power steering and front disc brakes with power assist. Wonderful car to drive !!

The paint, royal maroon (dark red), is really beautiful. It shines well and the seams on the doors are neat. All panels are nice and straight and of course this Mustang has no rust !!!!

The interior is in very good original condition. Seats, carpet, headliner and door panels are all as new. Original steering wheel and radio are still present. A center console really completes the interior. All very nice !!!

The bumpers and all the chrome is still very nice and shines fantastic. Like new!!

The rims are nicely painted in the color of the body and fitted with GT center caps. The Cooper Cobra tires are like new and have white letters.

This Mustang drives, shifts, steers and brakes fantastic. A real pleasure to drive !!
