1966 Ford Mustang bought in Lemon Grove California from Jacob. Lemon Grove is in the San Diego area. Jacob had this mustang with his dad for many years and it was their "Father and son" project. They redid the interior and they had the car repainted. They changed many things. Since Jacob was in a new phase of his life, he had no room for the Mustang anymore so it had to go.
This Mustang is an A-code. That means it has a 289ci 8 cylinder engine, like most of the 65 and 66 Mustangs, but with a 4 barrel carburator. This means it has a little more horsepower than the C-codes. The engine was rebuilt a couple of years ago and got a fresh coat of paint.
It has an automatic transmission that shifts well. The engine runs really powerful and reliable and the transmission shifts smoothly. A pleasure to drive!
Power disc brakes for sale and accurate stopping power. A dual exhaust system sounds really nice!!
The underside has many new parts. Springs, shocks, tie rods, control arms, bushings, and rubbers have been renewed in the last years.
The interior is really nice. Seats, carpet, door panels, headliner, etc etc, all very nice. This Mustang has a center console and airco control unit. Original Steering wheel and original style radio. It has aftermarket airconditioning. Unmolested Mustang!!
The paint, Sauterne Gold, is really nice and shiny. Looks very good. This Mustang is absolutely rust free!!! Very solid for a 57 year old car. NO RUST HOLES!!! This Mustang needs no welding!!
The chrome is very nice and all the moldings and trim is looking good.
The Mustang GT wheels make this Mustang even look better. Brand new White letters tires make these wheels awesome!
