SELLING FROM MY PRIVATE COLLECTION
This 1963 Chevrolet Nova is a top car with many top parts.
In 2018, the car was purchased in Modesto California from Mike, a retired metal worker, who had already invested a lot of money in and renovated it. Mike also had a Harley and he wanted to continue with it, so the Nova had to be sold.
This is the 2-door hardtop coupe.
The Nova came to the Netherlands where it was first registered in March 2019 with a Dutch license plate. Various improvements were subsequently made, such as a completely new interior, new wheels, power steering, and many more upgrades.
The Nova is equipped with a 350 that has been bored up to 355cui. A hot cam and roller rockers have been installed for increased horsepower and torque as well as an Edelbrock performer intake manifold and an Edelbrock carburetor. Mallory electronic ignition for higher reliability. Sanderson headers with Magnaflow mufflers make this engine sound wonderfully powerful. A serpentine belt with 6 grooves drives the water pump, alternator, and steering pump. Everything looks great!!
The engine is equipped with GM Performance valve covers and a nice open-air filter.
A thick 3-row aluminum radiator with 2 x 10-inch fans is mounted for cooling.
The TH350 has a shift kit and a 2500-stall converter. The gearbox shifts as it should.
In some photos you can still see the computer, tank and other parts of the Fitech carburetor that was on it, but it has been replaced by a regular Edelbrock carburetor.
The Nova is equipped with a TCI pro touring front clip with the following parts:
- Narrowed Pro Touring Clip
- 1″ Upper and 1 1/8″ Lower Tubular Steel A-Arms
- Stock or Drop Forged Spindles
- Adjustable Firewall to Clip “Down Bars”
- Power Rack & Pinion Steering Rack
- Short Arm 1″ Sway Bar
- 11″ Drilled & Slotted GM Disc Brakes with Wilwood Calipers
- Wilwood aluminum master cylinder
- Adjustable Aluminum Coil Over Shocks w/Painted Springs
- Inner Fender Aluminum Sheet Metal
- 5x 4.75″ Chevy Bolt Pattern
At the rear is a reinforced 10-bolt rear axle with Posi traction and 3.73 gears. Caltracks traction bars ensure that the rear wheels stay firmly on the ground.
17 inch American Racing Torq Trust wheels, new!! with new tires 205-55-17 front and 225-50-17 in the rear.
The Nova is equipped with a completely new interior from TMI. New carpet and matching door handles complete it. The steering wheel is from Billet Specialties and is covered with the same material as the seats. The steering wheel alone is already € 1.000,- Lokar shifter and pedals. Dakota Digital dashboard provides a beautiful and dynamic overview of the engine's condition. Speed is calibrated accurately to the nearest kilometer.
This Nova is also equipped with electric cruise control from Dakota Digital. Comfortable for long highway cruises.
Paint and exterior
The car does not have a super shiny paint job. The car is somewhat dull, especially on the left side, and there is a kind of “patina” in the paint. But this is exactly what makes the car unique and super cool!!! You have to see this!!!
No rust, no bubbles in the paint, this is a California car!!
This is a car you must see! The stance, The sound of the engine, The interior, Under the hood, Everything great!!!
This is a unique car of which you will not find a second one. Power, sound, stance, what a car!!!!
Lots of invoices and other documents come with this power monster!!
Please note: you are looking at a classic car that is 60 years old. This is not a brand-new or fully restored 1000 point show car. It's a super cool car, but there will always be something that isn't perfect or something that needs to be improved or updated.
The car comes with a Dutch license plate. So it has a Dutch license plate. This means easy registration in any European country such as France, Italy, Spain, etc
