NOW available in our shop in Kampen, The Netherlands!!!
59 years old and still in this condition.....how is it possible!!!
What a super Solid and honest 1963 Ford Galaxie 500!!!
This Galaxie was made a few years ago by a speed shop in Germany in the “Nascar” style. The benches and carpet were removed(unfortunately not available) Because there is no carpet, you can see how solid and hard the bottom of the car is.
The panels are straight and absolutely rust free!!!! The paint is still very good and has a nice shine. The doors close nicely and the seams are neat. The windows also go up and down well.
The engine is a souped-up 289CUi (4700cc) with an Edelbrock intake and carburetor. Headers are mounted and the sound comes through a double Flowmaster exhaust. The car was originally delivered with an automatic gearbox, but a 4-speed manual transmission was fitted for the race.
Of course the car is 59 years old and therefore needs some love. But drive it as it is on the track or make it as you wish!!!
The car comes with German papers. TUV and H-zulassung are included, but it is several years ago.
The 1963 model was essentially unchanged, with a lower, fastback roofline added mid-year to improve appearance and make the big cars more competitive on the NASCAR tracks with less drag and reduced aerodynamic lift at high speeds. This 1963 model, the industry's first official "½ year" model, was dubbed the "sport hardtop" or "fastback".
We speak German, English and Dutch.
We can transport this nice Galaxie 500 to your door.
