61 years old and still in this condition.....how is it possible!!!

What a super Solid and honest 1963 Ford Galaxie 500!!!

This Galaxie is the well desired 500 Hardtop Coupe version.

The panels are straight and absolutely rust free!!!! The paint is still very good and has a nice shine. The doors close nicely and the seams are neat. The windows also go up and down well.

The engine is a souped-up 351CUi (5700cc) with an Edelbrock intake and carburetor. Headers are mounted and the sound comes through a double Flowmaster exhaust. The car was originally delivered with an automatic gearbox, but a 4-speed manual transmission was fitted over the years.

The interior holds the original steering wheel and some nice seats. Carpet is new. Not new but in overall good condition.

The car comes with German papers. TUV and H-zulassung are included, but it is several years ago.

The 1963 model was essentially unchanged, with a lower, fastback roofline added mid-year to improve appearance and make the big cars more competitive on the NASCAR tracks with less drag and reduced aerodynamic lift at high speeds. This 1963 model, the industry's first official "½ year" model, was dubbed the "sport hardtop" or "fastback".

Please note this is a 61 year old car. It is not new and not a 1000 points show car. It is very nice but there will be always something to do, fix, renew or improve.
