Really nice and good 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop coupe bought from Ron from The Netherlands. Ron's dad owned the Bel Air since 1989, so he had it for over 30 years. He even drove it in Spain where he had a summer house.
Has the original 265V8 engine with 2 barrel carburator and with powerglide transmission. Runs and drives like a dream!! Nice old style "Chevrolet" valve covers are original to that era.
Interior is really nice. Seats, carpet, door panels, headliner, etc etc, all very nice. Not new, its 65 years old, but very nice for sure!! Everything is original, radio, steering wheel, heater, gauges, everything!! Even the dome light works. The radio also!! There is a tussue box under the dash.
Paint are the original colors, Sierra gold with adobe beige/ Its nice but not perfect by any means, it has only 1 repaint a while ago. Has some imperfections on the white but overall really nice for a 65 year old Chevy. NO RUSTBUBBLES IN THE PAINT!!!
The underside of the car is in good shape but the drivers floor is a little soft so we think it needs a new floor pan there. It has 2 or 3 other small bad spots on the floor that were repaired some years ago but could use some attention again. But overall the floor is in good shape. The bottom of the car was sprayed with undercoating 30 years ago and is still there.
The white wall tires are in good condition and the original hub caps are still on the car. The fender skirts are also available but we like the looks better when they are off.
The car comes with Dutch registration. So for Dutch guys you can step in and drive. We can help with German TUV and Belgian homologation.
We speak German, English and Dutch.
We can transport to any EU country.
Its a great car for cruising to car shows or long distance trips.
